Thailand recognized the independence of Kosovo

The kingdom of Thailand announced the recognition of the independence of the autonomous region of Kosovo. This was announced in the microblog on Twitter, the head of the Kosovo Foreign Ministry Enver Khoja.

The Albanian authorities of Kosovo, with the support of the United States and a number of European Union countries, on February 17, 2008, unilaterally proclaimed independence from Serbia.

In July 2010, the UN International Court of the UN in the Hague issued an advisory conclusion that says that the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo does not contradict international law. A court statement has no compulsory force. Since then, the self -proclaimed state has recognized more than 30 countries.
