Determined finalists of the Kandinsky Prize

Today, October 2, finalists of the 2013 Kandinsky Prize became known. Of the 37 works of nominees, the international jury chose three works in each of the nominations.

At the second stage of voting, which took place as part of the exhibition of nominees, members of the international jury after full -time familiarization with the works of artists determined the finalists of the award. Each of the jury members voted in a personal list of three works of nominees. The finalists were participants who gained the largest number of votes.

Finalists of the 2013 Kandinsky Prize:

Nomination "Young artist. Project of the year "
1. Evgeny Gradschikov - “positions”;

The Kandinsky Prize is awarded in the nominations “Project of the Year” (prize fund of 40,000 euros) and “Young artist. Project of the year ”(Prize fund 10,000 euros).

The exhibition of works of nominees is held until November 10 at the Moscow Cinema "Drummer". The 2013 Kandinsky Award ceremony will be held on December 12.
