Extension of arrest for Sergei Udaltsov and Dmitry Rukavishnikov

On October 2, the Basmanny Court will consider petitions from the investigation to extend the preventive measure for the defendants in the Bolotnaya case, coordinators of the Left Front, Dmitry Rukavishnikov (10:00) and Sergei Udaltsov (14:00). Rukavishnikov is in jail, Udaltsov is under house arrest.

The day before, the Basmanny Court extended the arrest of Leonid Razvozzhaev, who, together with Udaltsov, is involved in the case of organizing mass riots. Udaltsov has been under house arrest since February 9. Prior to that, he was under house arrest.

On July 1, Udaltsov and Razvozzhaev, as well as their lawyers, began to familiarize themselves with the materials of the criminal case, which was separated into a separate proceeding. The volume of the case is 79 volumes. It also includes numerous physical evidence, audio and video recordings.

Rukavishnikov, head of the Left Front branch in Ivanovo, was detained on 2 April. He was charged under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (participation in riots). The activist was identified by one of the police officers. Attached to the case is a photograph in which Rukavishnikov is standing near the toilet cubicle.
