The arrest of ex-mayor of Yaroslavl Urlashov was extended until December 3

The Moscow City Court was in custody until December 3 of the mayor of Yaroslavl Evgeny Urlashov, who was accused of corruption, reports Rapsey. Urlashov was detained by the police on June 2. Two criminal cases of attempting to receive a bribe were instituted against him. The investigation insists that the mayor of Yaroslavl and his subordinates from December last year to July 2 of this year extorted a bribe of 45 million rubles from the entrepreneur from the amount transferred to the company at the expense of the work performed. In addition, according to investigators, in May 2013, Urlashov demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur for refusing the claims in the arbitration process in the city hall’s claim. According to Urlashov himself, a political provocation was committed against him.
