On October 3, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decision on freezing prices for a number of services during the Winter Olympiad. It looks like a handout. Or rather - a smoke curtain

I myself am from Adler, but now I work in Moscow. I do not want the magazine to publish my photo. On October 3, I learned that prices for air and railway tickets within the Krasnodar Territory will be frozen from November 1 to April 16, and laundry, dry cleaning and city carriers will not be able to raise them from January 7 to April 16- this was decided by the government. It seems to be a reason to rejoice. But I'm not happy.

My mother remained in Adler, and I often come there. I recently made a post in VKontakte - briefly, but emotionally described what was happening. And people from other regions - from Omsk, from Kursk, who from where - left me comments in the spirit: “The Olympiad is so important for Sochi. And if you write that you are ashamed to live in this country, then get out of here. ” And I - yes, I'm ashamed. And it’s even scary that it will be worse further. And what kind of loud indignation they can create problems is also scary.

The last time we were called from the FSB. The man seemed to be a lieutenant colonel. Mom picked up the phone, he said that in connection with the new government decree, we must evict residents who rent an apartment from us. Like, only people with local registration should remain in the city. When asked where you can see this resolution, he replied: “The information is not disclosed, this comes from above. From September 10, everyone needs to be evicted. ” And he added that the capital was also cleared by the Moscow Olympics in 1980. Since we were not provided with documents, we have not yet been touched by the residents, but what will happen next is incomprehensible.

In September, we had another trouble. My mother works at the maintenance station, which is located on Aviation Street, next to the Mzymta river. The head of the station announced that to ensure the safety of the Olympiad, the administration ordered to close all enterprises along the road from January to March. For three months! And they will not pay any compensations to people.

In general, most strange and even crazy initiatives explain security measures.

For example, our acquaintances from the village of Veselny, where there is no central heating, the local administration forbade the stove to drown with firewood. At first they talked about some smoke curtains over the Olympic objects, then they said more honestly-it is not good if the Olympic guests see that we have stoves drowned here, everything should be according to European standards. But the people, of course, are not so moron. Nobody will freeze for the sake of the Olympiad.

And most importantly, no one explains anything to anyone. Schoolchildren and students were forced to leave the holidays a week earlier - on August 26, because during the Olympics, for two weeks, all educational institutions will be closed. For what? Neither teachers nor the students explained anything. There are rumors in the city that they will limit the movement during games. Our acquaintances from the administration said that on the exits from the villages they would put checkpoints that will produce cars on special passes. But again, documented and officially this has not been confirmed in any way.

From the outside it may seem that all these are trifles. Especially after the forests were cut down, how they poisoned the river twice, as people were evicted from the houses. But each such trifle spoils life. We even have problems with electricity. There were always interruptions, but the Olympiad is an increase in the load on the line, and they promised us that everyone would fix it. But in the summer I was in Adler, and interruptions did not disappear. And I just don’t understand which Olympics, what “European standards”, what other “holiday for the whole country”, when we have such garbage with light, with water, with heating, and now also with a ban on smoke?
