
Against the captain of the ARCTIC Sunrise, on which the Greeenpeace human rights movement was sent to the Pechora Sea platform in the Pechora Sea, an administrative proceedings were initiated. US citizen Peter Wilcox is held accountable under Art. 19.4 (disobedience to the legal order of the official of the body carrying out state supervision) Code of Administrative Offenses, Interfax informs.
On Tuesday afternoon, it also became known that the Lenin Court in Murmansk left Denis Sinyakov in custody in the Greenpeace case. Lawyers suggested changing the maintenance of the detentionality to the pre -trial detention center for monetary pledges and guarantee, but the judge was adamant.
Earlier, Peter Wilkox, along with other members of the crew of the ship, Arctic Sunrise, was detained for a protest against the oil production on the Prirazlomnaya platform. All 30 people were taken to Murmansk and taken under arrest. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation accused all of them under the article "Piracy", including Vilcox, and arrested for two months. The maximum punishment under the article is up to 15 years in prison.
