Today, October 9, the winner of the Cannes Festival "Adeli Life" is released in the French rental (the Russian release of the picture is yet scheduled for November 7). As the date of the premiere of the idyll, who reigned at Cannes press conferences and festival photographs, was rapidly mutated in a communal scandal, so unpleasant that Abladif Keshish already officially expressed his reluctance to release the film (fortunately, nothing depends on his mood). It should be noted that troubles with the "Adele" began even before Cannes. On May 24, Le Monde has published an article that the trade union of the film industry is preparing to file a lawsuit for non -compliance with the Labor Code for Keshish and his production company Les Quatre Sous. A little later, Julie Maro, the author of the “Blue is the warmest color”, based on which Keshish made his film, wrote on her blog that “Adeli’s life” was disappointed and most importantly - the director Keshish ugly behaved with her, that his egocentrism negatively affects his relationship with his employees. And in September, both actresses - Lea Seyu and Adele exarpupulos - said in an interview with the Daily Beast that the director treated them on the set is extremely disrespectful that he was a malicious manipulator and a voyeur and no longer intend to cooperate with him. Zinaida Pronchenko talked with Keshish and Seydu (the exarkopuppler refuses to meet with the press) about why everything is so bad.
- You often say that the shooting in the “ADLI life” has become a painful test for you. But you read a comic, you read the script, you knew what would happen in the film-why did you still agree to participate in the project?
- Yes, I knew that it would be a very difficult film, that Keshish is an unrealistic demanding director, but I really wanted to act from him to expand the horizons, improve my acting skills ...
- The story with a slap in the face (in one of the scenes, Keshish demanded that Seyd hit the partner - Adele Exkupolos - in the face, and since he was not satisfied with the emotional state of the actress, more than twenty orange a blow was made. - Ed. ) Also became part of this program to expand the horizons?
- Of course not! But what could I do? Abladith leaves you no choice. He often said that we need to completely trust him, that we are taking off a masterpiece, which means that everything else is trifles, unimportant details. Only now all these conversations about a masterpiece-even if the film became them-do not justify the director’s monstrously disrespectful attitude to actresses, an unhealthy atmosphere on the site based on the deification of the director-Tiranian. The only thing that saved me then was the complete solidarity of Adeli Exercropee. We became friends, supported each other in everything.
- Can you tell how intimate scenes were shot?
- Sex scenes were shot first. Days long. One plan. Sometimes ten hours in a row. I can’t judge their realism, but I can say that the raw, preliminary assembly of the film was almost hardcore. In the final version, everything is much softer.
“Do you like your character, Emma?” She's a few ... mmm ... bitch?
- Yes, she is pretty to me. Especially her leadership abilities, her ability to seduce, prevailing in her masculine principle. But not at all “bourgeois features and habits”, which Keshish constantly taldy!
© Getty Images / Fotobank.ru Cannes Film Festival, May 23, 2013-Do you think the film will become a cult in the LGBT community? It can be called in some way the manifesto of the LGBT movement?
- Exactly not. In many ways, the manifesto is the source comic book Julie Maro. And at first I, however, thought that Keshish would move in the same direction. But he, as always, decided in his own way and preferred to pedal the social aspects of history. The heroines belong to different social classes, and since Abladith is obsessed with the theory of classes and social inequality - supposedly because he suffered from him in his youth and continues to suffer today - the “ADLI life” turned out that the well -fed hungry does not mean. I am disappointed.
- Is it true that Keshish took you for the role, guided by your social origin (Grandfather Seyda is the head of the Pathe cinema -concert, the uncle leads the Gaumont studio. - Ed. )?
- Of course, Keshish openly talked about it. He also has hostility to privileged classes, discusses a lot about discrimination. On the set, I heard enough of all this.
- The film was shown in Cannes in the midst of discussion about the legalization of same -sex marriages. How do you feel about this problem?
- I had before and after the film and there was no opinion on this. The film, as I said, is quite obviously not about that, and I do not like that some specialized publications are now making gay icon now. Keshish said many times that the film is not about lesbian love, but about love in general. Some critics believe that he is crooked with his soul and that the film is conjunctive, I think that everything is a perfect accident or, conversely, incliction. In any case, this question was brewing in French society for a long time, it is fine that it was resolved as it was resolved.
- What are your relations with Keshish now?
- Extremely stretched, as you can guess. We practically do not communicate, exclusively within the framework of the promotion.
- What is your film about?
- About love. There is nothing more important than love in this world. The film is about its origin, development, climax. In addition, love is the path to other topics. Case, fate, etc.
- Why is love - lesbian?
-A few years ago, I wrote a script about a woman, a school teacher of the French language and literature, which my husband left, about how difficult it is to survive parting with a still loved one. I was interested in a female look at the parting. I again wanted to shoot Karol Frank, who played in my ditch. And then I stumbled upon a comic book by Julie Maro, in which I felt the echoes of my own story. That is, initially there was no idea to make a film certainly about same -sex love. Although I believe that between two women, love relationships are much more mysterious, intense and, therefore, more interesting. But, I repeat, sexual orientation does not play any role here.
- Did you show the "life of Adeli" in Tunisia?
- No, this is impossible. Unfortunately. Although at first I had such an intention. A few years ago, I could show the film any degree of scandalous in my homeland. Now the political situation has changed. Here you have the Arab Spring! The authorities once again demonstrate their inability to comply with the requests of the era. My film is for a new generation, he is about freedom to love, create, live. I am sure that Tunisian youth will look at him anyway.

- (It cuts off in a half -word.) This polemic, for which only one person is responsible - Lea Seyu with her false and vulgar statements by the press - she has no reason and meaning. Seyda just wanted to attract attention ... to her little person! Some actresses want to crawl to success and do not understand that they need to work on the site, give all the best. That the filming process is not champagne in the dressing room and compliments to your majesty from morning to night, but hard work. I assure you, the setting on the set was creative, friendly. I had no problems with the exarkopuppler, with Seyd - it, like a wall, is completely immune. All the actors who have ever worked with me are grateful, they have matured on the set, outgrown themselves! It is terrible that Seydo does not understand such obvious things, and even more terrible that she prevents the viewer from looking at the film with an uncomplicated look after all the shit that critics poured on him.
-Is there any special message for gay public in your film?
- This is more social history. The film that the class difference does not prevent two creatures from falling in love with each other. Message of the film, if he is there, to leave from watching the love for his neighbor.
- That is, love between two different social classes is possible?
- Definitely.
-And the fact that Seyda belongs to the top of the French elite somehow affected her behavior, the manner of the game? Have you approved her for a role because of her origin?
- The next question.
“Could you tell us about your relationship with Julie Maro?”
- I feel in the issue of irony! Why should I answer your attacks instead of talking about the film?! It is unfortunate that you have to participate in all this vulgar polemic; Maybe this is the necessary price that you have to pay for the “palm branch”? You see, what is the matter: everyone wants their own piece of glory - and this is the case of Julie Maro. And in a private conversation, she told me that she liked the film! Be that as it may - this is my film, and I shot it as I want. MARO does not have a monopoly on the topic of love between two women, it is not true that only lesbians are able to adequately describe lesbian love! She and Lea Seyu - parasites !! This is a disrespect for the viewer, to the Cannes jury, who awarded the film, to cinema, finally !!! Their duty is to tell the press: go and watch the film, we shot a masterpiece!
