According to Lenta.ru with reference to the website of the Moscow Expertise , the total cost of work will be about 50 million rubles, the deadlines for restoration are not yet called.
It is already known that the most expensive project may be the restoration of the monument to the Dzerzhinsky work of architect Sergei Speransky and sculptor Evgeny Vuchetich.
For dismantling and subsequent installation of the sculpture, a special device is required - an mounting conductor. In addition, the monument needs to replace the frame and pedestal. Whether the monument to Dzerzhinsky will be moved from the Museon sculptures park, where it is currently located, is not reported.
The monument was erected on Dzerzhinsky Square (since 1990 Lubyanskaya Square) in 1958. On the evening of August 22, 1991, after an unsuccessful attempt by the Civil Code of the State Emergency Committee, the monument was overthrown by the pedestal by decree of the Moscow City Council and transferred to the Museon Art Park.
Among the other monuments to be restored, the Herzen and Ogarev Memorial on the Sparrow Mountains, the sculptural composition “The First Komsomol members” on the university avenue, as well as the “layout on the old Vladimir road”, located in the square on the square of the Rogozhskaya Zastava.
