On Thursday, October 10, at 15:00 in the Central District Court of Tver (Volokolamsk Ave. 31), the case of the Poloz-Polizk Sergey Cherepovsky will continue. The activist was detained at the May Day demonstration for the distribution of the party newspaper and a demonstration of the Flag of another Russia and accused of attacking the district OP "Central" Denis Vasin.
The previous meeting in the case took place on October 1. Three more police officers were interrogated on it - a witness to the prosecution . None of them managed to explain on whose initiative the activist was detained. In addition, one of the witnesses confidently stated that Vasin had not seen any bodily harm, although the opposite approved the investigation. During the previously held hearings, several more policeman witnesses made indications that contradicted the data during the investigation and actually justified Cherepovsky.
All three police officers were supposed to be interrogated on September 23 , but at that time none of them appeared at the meeting. Then the judge Elena Mordvinkina, the leading process, decided to start familiarization with the case file, starting by viewing videos. However, the lawyer of Politzek Svetlana Sidorkina said that the “victim” Vasin should be present when viewing, since his testimony significantly contradict the events recorded on the video. Mordvinkina satisfied the petition and transferred the meeting. Nevertheless, Vasin did not appear on October 1.
Cherepovsky is imprisoned in the pre-trial detention center-1. Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the use of non -hazardous violence to a representative of the authorities), the activist threatens up to five years in the colony.
