The Laureate of the Nobel Prize in Literature was Alice Anne Munro

Munro is a laureate of the Buker Prize, a three -time laureate of the Canadian Prize of General General. Several times she was nominated for the Nobel Prize.

Munro was born in the farmer's family in 1931. She began to write in adolescence and published her first story “Shadow Measurements”, in 1950 while studying at the University of Northern Ontario. Her last collection "Pravshi a lot of happiness" was published in August 2009.
