Russia will not conduct its investigation of the incident with the diploma of Borodin - the Dutch version awaits

The conflict between Russia and the Netherlands, which began due to the detention of Russian diplomat Dmitry Borodin, reduced momentum after apology from the Dutch side. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that they did not conduct their investigation regarding the incident and expect from Holland the "right" analysis of the actions of the police. Meanwhile, the members of the LDPR, previously configured to beat the windows of the diplomatic mission, are going to arrange a picket near the Netherlands Embassy on Saturday, Interfax reports.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Lukashevich, explained why Russia does not need to conduct its own investigation regarding the actions of the actions of an adviser-criminal for the Russian embassy Dmitry Borodin. "We have no reason to suspect him that he publicly told many television channels after what he survived, therefore, of course, we are not conducting any investigation," Lukashevich noted.

He explained that he was waiting for the official version of the Dutch colleagues about what happened to the diplomat. “On the contrary, we would like to get the reaction of Dutch colleagues in an accelerated mode and listen to their version of what happened,” said Lukashevich, emphasizing that he was very regretted about the scandalous events that happened “against the background of the final stage of our cross years and a number of other events related to this.”

"We will count on the fact that the Dutch leadership will correctly analyze the possible consequences of its unlawful actions. And we will find a way out that will not weighing our further relations with this major European partner," he added.

Zhirinovsky, who promised to break the windows of the Dutch embassy, ​​will head the LDPR rally

As promised in the LDPR, a picket in protest against the actions of the Netherlands police will be held next Saturday. "The LDPR picket at the Embassy of the Netherlands will take place on October 12," the party’s press release says.

The protest will be held by the leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky, deputies of the Liberal Democrats faction in the State Duma, members and activists of the Moscow City Branch of the Party. “This is not the first time. There was a case in Doha, the capital of Qatar, when our ambassador was beaten, trying to select diplomatic mail. In this case, an attack on our diplomat is again. And do not invent - family quarrels, alcohol or something else. In its pure form, provocation!” - Zhirinovsky is sure.

"Our Moscow organization will arrange a picket at the Embassy of the Netherlands and break all the windows at this embassy," Zhirinovsky said. True, after some time, he explained that he was not so understood: he did not promise to break the windows at the Netherlands Embassy in Russia, but only warned that at a rally of liberal democrats near the diplomatic mission building it would be difficult to keep youth from such acts.

Conflict between Russia and the Netherlands

Relations between the two countries were aggravated after the attack on the diplomat Dmitry Borodin, who, according to him, was beaten by the Dutch police in his own house due to the dubious complaint of the neighbors about the abuse of the Russian with children. The embassy employee was kept in a police station for several hours, after which they released without explanation and apology.

Meanwhile, Dutch journalists the day before added scandalous details: they reported that at the time of the detention of Borodin and his wife were drunk . According to sources, the police were called by the neighbors. They arrived and saw that Borodin was drunk, after which they detained him, despite his diplomatic status.

According to some reports, on that day, law enforcement officers went home twice to Borodin. The reason for the first call on Saturday afternoon was the accident, which was supposedly arranged by Borodin's wife. Near the house she damaged four parked cars at once, while receiving her neck and back injuries. According to the policemen, the woman was notvetory and tried to resist the doctors who wanted to help her.

Shortly after the incident, the Russian Foreign Ministry handed over to the Netherlands a note of protest and demanded an explanation and apology. Then President Vladimir Putin demanded an answer from the Netherlands, and the Foreign Ministry gave Dutch colleagues to formulate it for only a few hours. The Dutch met on time, however, they did not say anything special. An apology, made to understand in the Hague, can only be followed if the country's authorities establish a fact of violation of international norms in relation to the Russian diplomat.

“I can confirm that the Netherlands are investigating the incident with the participation of the Russian diplomat, which was detained by the Dutch police. If this investigation shows that the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations was violated, then the Netherlands will apologize to the Russian Federation,” said Tace Van Son, official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands.
