Khazanavichus's “Search” is a remake of the film of the same name by Fred Zinneman of 1948 (Oscar for the best script). It tells about how, after the Second World War, the mother and her nine -year -old son - the only survivors from the Big Czech family are looking for and find each other. According to Khazanavichus, the main characters of his film will also be a woman and a boy.
Many Search scenes were shot in the destroyed cities of post -war Germany - Ingolstadt, Nuremberg and Würzburg.
Michelle Khazanavichus shoots his film in Georgia. For the main female role, the director approved his wife, the star of the film "Artist" ( The Artist ) Berenis Bezho. She plays an employee of a public organization working in modern Chechnya, years after hostilities.
Soon, the crew plans to continue working on the film in Paris. Information about the release date has not yet been reported.
