The Parliament of Belgium adopted a law on the reform of the funding system of the royal family. All subsidies to the members of the Monar Family will be reduced and will be taxed, and the number of princes and princesses who have state financing are reduced, ITAR-TASS reports.

The amount of funds allocated from the budget for the maintenance of the king is estimated at about 11 million euros per year.

But the Brother and sister of Philip - Prince Laurent and Princess Astrid - constitutional norms do not spread. Now they will receive 307 thousand euros per year for personal needs, which will be taxed on an equal footing with other citizens of Belgium, as well as 320 thousand euros for representative needs, for the spending of which it will be necessary to report.

In addition, the income of Albert Second and his wife, Queen Paola, will fall under taxes in July this year. He will receive a plug -in subsidy for 180 thousand euros and about 500 thousand accountable euros for representative needs.

The most following the results of the new reform will be lost by Queen Fabiol - the widow of the older brother of Albert Second King Baudouin, who died in 1993. She received the largest allowance from all members of the royal family - 1.4 million euros per year, which at the beginning of this year had already reduced to 923 thousand euros. This money was not taxed, and their spending was not controlled by the state. Now Fabiole has to be content with payments of 90 thousand and 461 thousand euros, respectively.

None of the relatives of the King of the Belgians are supposed to have subsidies, although in the future a separate subsidy is waiting for a minor heiress to the throne of Elizabeth, the daughter of Philip and Matilda.

All other princes and princesses - the children and nephews of the king - will have to earn a living on their own.
