The famous British architect Zakha Hadid has developed a superchot design for the German shipbuilding company Blohm + VOSS, the British press reports.
In honor of the opening of the exhibition of the architect’s works in the David Gill London Gallery, the Blohm + Voss shipbuilders spoke about the new yacht designed Hadid, writes The Telegraph .
The design of a vessel 128 meters long, as noted by the publication, was inspired by "dynamic fluid and underwater ecosystems." The external frame of the yacht is an exoskeleton consisting of interwoven wave -shaped lines.
- At Sevmash, they constructed and now test their first elite megahahya
Based on the design of this yacht, shipbuilders plan to create five smaller yachts 90 meters long, which will differ not only in size, but also a number of technical changes, RIA Novosti reports.
Blohm + Voss clients can already see yacht drawings, however, their creation can take up to 4 years, depending on those ordered elements that will be added to the final project. The cost of yachts has not yet been reported.
The The The Daily Mail publishes photos of a yacht and a computer video review.
Zakha Hadid is a British architect of Arabic origin. In 2004, she became the first woman in history, a awarded the Pritzker Prize.
Recall that a famous fan of luxurious yachts is the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. In 2010, he acquired the longest yacht in the world called Eclipse at that time - 163 meters. But this year this symbolic record was broken: the President of the UAE bought the German yacht Azzam 180 meters long. But who will argue that the main thing is not the length, but the beauty of the incarnation.
