The Murmansk Regional Court dismissed appeals against the arrest of the Greenpeace activist, British citizen Alexandra Harris and Arctic Sunrise deckhand, Canadian citizen Alexander Pol, detained in the Pechora Sea. They will remain under arrest until 24 November.
Previously, similar decisions were made against sixteen out of thirty activists of an environmental organization and crew members accused of piracy: photographer Denis Sinyakov, doctor of the Arctic Sunrise ship Ekaterina Zaspa, Greenpeace Russia press secretary Andrey Allahverdov, videographer Kiron Brian, organization activists Roman Dolgov, Phillip Ball, Camila Spesiale, Christian D'Alessandro, Frank Huetson, Anthony Perrett, Mannes Ubels, ship's captain Peter Willcox, ship's electrician David Hossmann, crew member Gisem Ahan, mechanic Jonathan Beauchamp and radio operator Colin Russell.
upd: Later, appeals against the arrest of two Greenpeace activists were also rejected - a citizen of the Netherlands Faiza Aulasen and a citizen of Denmark Anna Jensen.
