Putin signed an anti -tobacco law

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that tightens responsibility for violation of anti -tobacco legislation, Interfax reports. The document intensifies the responsibility for the sale of tobacco products and tobacco products. Fines for this will amount to three to five thousand rubles for citizens, from 30 to 50 thousand rubles for officials and from 100 to 150 thousand rubles for legal entities.

In the Code of Administrative Offenses, a direct ban on smoking on playgrounds will appear (its violation is punishable by a fine of two to three thousand rubles). For involving a minor in the smoking process, the fine will be up to two thousand rubles. A demonstration of tobacco products and the process of their consumption in the newly created and intended audiovisual works for children will cost officials of 20-50 thousand rubles, legal-100-200 thousand rubles. A similar violation in films for an adult audience will cost 20-40 thousand rubles and 100-170 thousand rubles, respectively.

At the same time, sanctions are provided for non -compliance with the requirements of the legislation for the allocation and equipping of special places for smoking tobacco - from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles for officials and from 50 to 80 thousand rubles for legal entities.

The law was adopted by the State Duma on October 15 and approved by the Federation Council on October 16. He will enter into force on November 15 this year.
