An attempt to aim the Muslim prayer house in the Kirovsky district of Volgograd was committed on Tuesday night, reports B1.ru with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies. At about 3:30, unknown people threw the mosque building on Lavrovaya Street with bottles of incendiary mixture. The mosque refers to the regional spiritual department of Muslims of the Volgograd region under the Central Department Store.

The fire was liquidated by employees of the religious institution before the arrival of fire calculation. Also, outfits of private security were put forward in place.

The attack in Volgograd occurred on October 21 at about 14:00. As a result of the explosion in the bus salon in the south of the city, seven people were killed, including the suicide bomber, more than 40 were injured. According to investigators, the explosive device was acted by Naida Asiilova, who was supposedly in a civil marriage with a member of the Dagestan gang underground Dmitry Sokolov.
