Dmitry Medvedev said that "the situation in the world economy is complicated," in early 2013 in the trade relations of the PRC and Russia there was a decline, but it managed to overcome "The volume of trade was leveled."
This, in his opinion, indicates the high potential of Russian-Chinese relations. "What we talked about some time ago: 100 billion, $ 200 billion - even in conditions of a very difficult foreign economic conjuncture, I believe that these figures are absolutely achievable," Medvedev said.
Lee Katsyan confirmed that the tendency of the decline was overcome and mutual turnover for the first time in three quarters began to grow. “We are obliged to seek further growth in trade and investment,” he believes. “We have confidence that by 2015 we will be able to not only bring trade to 100 billion, but even more - up to 200 billion, up to $ 300 billion.”
By 2020, the PRC was going to bring the volume of investments in Russia to $ 12 billion, said China Zhang Yuitszin, President of the Commercial Chamber for the import and export of machinery products. As ITAR-TASS reports, he spoke at the Economic Forum passing in the Beijing, dedicated to the meeting of the prime ministers.
According to Zhang Yuitsyn, now the volume of Chinese investments in the Russian economy is only about $ 3.5 billion, $ 847.7 million in China in China. In order to significantly increase the presence of Chinese capital in Russia over the next five years, the Russian side, first of all, is necessary to “increase the transparency of economic legislation and improve the investment climate for Chinese capital,” the President of the Chamber of Commerce believes.
He added that the Chinese side is interested in investing in the development of the Russian infrastructure, the residential sector, the mining industry and the production of high -tech equipment.
