There are no official data on Tolokonnikova's transfer

One of the requirements of the Pussy Riot group of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, who once again announced a hunger strike a couple of days ago, protesting against inhuman conditions of detention, apparently, was completed. At least her husband, Peter Verzilov, is sure that Nadezhda had already left the IK-14 and she is transferred to IK-2, to Chuvashia. Mr. Verzilov claims that the information received by him is correct, and regards them as extremely positive. Meanwhile, there is information that causes fears. In any case, there is a hope that now Tolokonnikov will stop hunger strikes that cause tangible harm to her health.

Transfer to the Chuvashi city of Alatyr, to the IK-2 colony, we are unconditionally as a positive step from the whole of Russia, primarily because it does not come up with various rumors that have recently spread, about transfer to the colony in Krasnoyarsk or in Nizhny Tagil. This would be a clear reference in chains and shackles to Siberia and would look like a punishment from the FSIN for a big resonance, which rose in connection with Nadia over the past few weeks.

Chuvashia, in principle, as a place of further serving the punishment, both Nadia and I are satisfied with her defense. We hope to meet constructive understanding and strict observance of the law by the IK-2 leadership in Alatyr, we hope to build normal relations with them, we hope that they will not work the same methods as in Mordovia.

With hope we had no connection for 5 days. The last one who saw her was Dmitry Dinze’s lawyer, still in the IK-14 Mordovian colony, when she was still on a hunger strike. It was such a peak, the second round of the scandal, after it was thrown back into the IK-14 and an incomprehensible episode with Violetta Volkova, with the alleged and almost confirmed assistance of employees of the central apparatus of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. On Friday, hope was still in a nervous state, as she resumed a hunger strike. But its conditions, in fact, were known: she will revise her attitude to what is happening only after she goes beyond the limits of the Republic of Mordovia. Which will happen, I think, in the coming hours. The leadership of the FSIN in Chuvashia, in Alatyr, says that she will arrive in place for several days. When exactly - it is incomprehensible, but we will track the situation.

We learned about the translation itself from informal sources, quite reliable, and from the leadership of various federal departments that reported this through people close to them.

There is still no official data on the transfer of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova to another colony. However, the lawyer of Nadezhda Dmitry Dinze considers this to be quite normal:

Officially, there is no data on where Nadezhda Tolokonnikov was transferred. The message about Chuvashia is not officially confirmed, the FSIN does not comment on this information. They have strict security measures when they are transferred to people, so they will inform something only when hope is already on the spot. The information on the stage always refers to the grip “secret” or “for official use” to prevent shoots.

In principle, we are quite happy if she serves further punishment in Chuvashia, this is luck. There are sufficiently strong positions of human rights activists, good local lawyers, and even to Kazan, that is, we can control the process there in the colony.
