
Oleg Oziev, deputy prosecutor of the industrial district of Vladikavkaz, was shot at the entrance of his own house. The killer disappeared from the scene of the crime.
The murder occurred at about 19:30 Moscow time on Ardonskaya Street, when Oziev alone was returning home home, the Caucasian Knot reports with reference to the assistant head of the SU RF CNS in North Ossetia Eduard Gusov. As soon as the deputy prosecutor got out of his car, the killer headed for him and fired several times in his victim from automatic weapons, and then disappeared.
At the moment, ITAR-TASS reports, an investigation group is working at the scene, witnesses of a resonant crime are being established, an eyewitness survey is underway. The motives of the murder are still unknown, but investigators are working on a version related to Oziev’s official activity. The UK has already opened the case under Articles 105 "Murder" and 222 "Illegal turnover of weapons", Mir 24 informs. In addition, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Arthur Akhmetkhanov and the prosecutor of the republic, Vladimir Vekshin, arrived at the place of murder.
It is known that Oziev, who worked all his life in the prosecutor's office, was about 50 years old, notes the Russian newspaper .
This is not the only loud murder of an official for today in the North Caucasus. On the morning of October 23, deputy mayor of Khasavyurt Saididymed Sataev was shot in Dagestan. According to the UK, his Toyota Camry car was fired by two unknown pistols. The main version is the murder associated with official activities, however, other versions are considered, including hostile relations or money -long obligations.
