"Correct dad"

Nikolai Levichv became a truly public politician suddenly-during the summer campaign for the election of the mayor of Moscow. From a little -known party functionary, he turned into a funeral character, who writes on a pre -election poster with a pen on the tablet computer, and then in a formidable fighter for the purity of the elections, sawing the door of the opponents with a “grinder”.

In the party, he is credited with different roles: from a technical apparatchik to a gray cardinal, who controls everyone, including the actual leader of the Socialist Revolutionaries, the former head of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov.

“Levevich is a good person, perhaps the best type of late Soviet official, who survived in the 21st century. There is something in him from Tolstoye Karenin, ”objects journalist Dmitry Olshansky, who in 2006 worked in the apparatus of“ Just Russia ”(prepared party documents and speech for Mironov), and then led the Russian Life magazine published with the money of party sponsors. - He, of course, is not an agitator, not an ideologist, he is precisely the state bureaucrat, but deprived of aggression, bad majority, wildness and rudeness. Levichv himself considers himself a model of a Western official, contrasting this style for officials of the “Aziopian type” like Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and insists that the main thing in politics is professionalism. He speaks of his character as follows: “People who know me closely understand that I have hypercritivity in relation to themselves and perfectionism, if you want - low self -esteem,” Levichov pulls his head into his shoulders and smiles guiltyly. - Griboedov wrote a brilliant comedy - “Woe from Wit”, and it was very often charged to me. Nikolai Levichv was born in 1953 in Pushkin of the Leningrad Region. His father was a teacher of radio engineering at a military school, his mother was a graphic artist. Perhaps the main factor why he eventually found himself in politics was friendship with Sergey Mironov, with whom Levichv lived in the same entrance as a child. “Seryozha lived on the third floor in a communal apartment, and I am on the ground floor in a separate apartment, so Mironov more often came to my house - listen to Vysotsky, shoot from a pneumatic rifle,” says Levichv.

At school, they did not sit at the same desk, as they “dried up to different girls” and sat with them, but often walked together. “They ran to a military airfield, collected sleeves, climbed into the gardens. They played the Indians, in the war. There were large craftsmen on the part of the huts, dugouts were built in the snow in the snow - we had such a joint economic activity, ”Levevich jokes. Further their interests dispersed: Mironov “since childhood along the geological line went more, went to the ravine of the village of Popovka to collect pebbles”, and Levich went to the house of pioneers to sign up for a chess circle.

The classmates Levichv were remembered as follows: “Since childhood, it was neat and correct. Very calm. He studied well, but not to fanaticism. Was the head of the class. Political life changed him. He became sharper and more active. But it almost did not change: the same thin, with direct posture, ”says Petersburger Vladislav Shulman, who studied with Levich in 10“ A ”class of the Physical and Mathematics School of Leningrad University.

After school, he entered the physical department of the University of Leningrad. During his studies, he first met Vladimir Churov (the current head of the Central Election Commission was a classmate of Levichv), and then with his future wife, who was three years older than him: she was a young teacher and led a seminar on philosophy on Levichv. Valentina Fedorovna is still with him together both in life and in politics: he heads in “Fair Russia” the Office of Ideology and Public Policy.

It is known about the 33-year-old daughter Levichvv, that she is a candidate of philosophical sciences and defended the dissertation for Kierkegaer*at Moscow State University, and now "works in a charity fund implementing cultural projects." In his free time, the chairman of the Just Russia is still engaged in the fact that “sleeps a little”, rides a bicycle, goes to the conservatory and reads books. It also collects parrots, who have several dozen at home: “I have a few of them, but more than normal people. There was a period in life, when I tried to breed them, now those that have taken root have been living together. ”

Komsomol leader

After graduating from the University of Levich, in his expression, the transformation “from physicists to lyrics” was waiting. He went along the Komsomol line: he worked in the Leningrad city committee of the Komsomol, where "he was engaged in cultural problems, creative youth, tried to open their faith in their own capabilities." Then he received an offer to become the editor of the Culture Department of the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, but he chose a job in the Council of Trade Unions (All -Union Central Council of Trade Unions), where he was called by Viktor Mishin, transferred to trade unions from the post of first secretary of the Komsomol Central Committee.

In perestroika, which Levichv, as he assures, anticipated and for which he was preparing in advance, he opened the Publishing company Key-s to “feed the family”, and headed it for 11 years. He began politics in 2002, at the age of 49, when an old friend Mironov called him to create a Russian party of life.

In 2004, Levichv led Mironov’s election headquarters in the presidential election (0.75% of the vote), in 2007, already from Just Russia, he elected to the State Duma, where he headed the faction as the second person of the party. The last conflict broke out on October 4 this year: eleven members of the St. Petersburg branch, led by State Duma deputy Oksana Dmitrieva, demanded Nikolai Levichv’s resignation from the post of chairman. “In the party, after elections to the State Duma, a protracted crisis is observed, associated with its slurred and inconsistent political position ... This inevitably leads to a decrease in voters' support, which was clearly revealed in the last elections. So, in the largest in the number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation - Moscow and the Moscow region, the party suffered a crushing defeat (in the elections of the heads of regions. - The New Times), taking the last place and receiving 2.79% in Moscow, and in the Moscow region - 1.83% of the vote, ”the letter said in their open. The voters also felt the catch. “Once they asked me at the meeting the question:“ Nikolai Vladimirovich, do you really want to be the mayor of Moscow or Ponaroshka? ” I even choked when I heard it, ”the ex-candidate admits. The elections themselves at times seemed to Levichev “sophisticated torture”: “I felt uncomfortable in this role when everyone turned into a circus. For example, the debate is appointed at 8 in the morning on the television channel, which no one is watching, and give one minute to tell how I am going to convert the city transport system. ”

The car of the campaign was the case of the Bulgarian, when the candidate on the call of an unknown “well -wisher” went to look for the illegal campaign of the Yabloko party, and found the apartment of Supporters of Navalny. “In the lane where I live, all the drain pipes were glued with agitation (Leader of Yabloko) by Sergey Mitrokhin. People and rams

In response to a direct question, whether he will lose his post on October 26, Levichvs assures: “The decision of the coming congress will be a complete surprise for me.” Valery Kartung, who is instructed to prepare amendments to the party’s charter, is also coming: de will be expanded by the rights of collegial bodies and the superforters of the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies will be eliminated: now Sergey Mironov, who holds this post, can cancel any decision.

However, the former State Duma deputy Oleg Shein is sure that the congress will decide to withdraw from the double board, Sergey Mironov will again be the chairman, and several secretaries will be responsible for certain sections of the work.

However, the personnel question for the fate of the SP is far from the main one. According to representatives of the internal opposition, the party now needs primarily "in the new course instead of the current consistent." But it seems that her voters will not wait for this. “Parties are guaranteed to vote for the fact that Mironov and Levich will decide for them. And the voices of people who understand that the parties will soon be crains will not outweigh the voices of those who will vote on the whistle like rams, ”the Gudkov sums up. - So Levichv will still remain in power, no matter how much he holds.
