The Higher School of Economics has joined the largest international project of online courses Coursera (the total number of users of this resource exceeds 5 million people).

As the vice of the Higher School of Economics, Sergei Roshchin, explained, students from Russia are included in the twenty of the most active users of Coursera, and the growth of the interest of the Russian -speaking audience in free distance education is constantly growing.

At the moment, on his personal page, the Higher School of Enterprise posted at once twelve educational courses. Students will be able to sign up for the courses “Financial Markets and Institutes”, “Fundamentals of Corporate Finance”, “Public Economics”, “Core Concepts in Data Analysis”, “History of Economic Thought”, “Fundamentals of microeconomics”, “Macroeconomics”, “Introduction to neuroeconomics: How The Brain Makes Decisions, “Theory of Industry Markets”, “Labor Economics”, “Understanding Russians: Contexts of Intercultural Communication” and “Documents and Presentations in Latex”. The page will regularly be replenished with new courses of teachers of the Higher School of Economics.
