In St. Petersburg, a "march against hatred" was held

In St. Petersburg today was the annual campaign "march against hatred." According to Interfax, about 150 people participated in the procession and rally organized by the Coalition "Democratic Petersburg", which includes about 20 public organizations, movements, regional parties.

This time the march was under the slogan "For Russia without pogroms." According to the organizers, this was a response to recent events in the Moscow district of Biryulyovo.

The protesters chanted the slogans about the inadmissibility of discrimination on sexual, national, religious signs and sexual orientation.

The event also took place for funds for the activities of the organizers of the march. Money was collected for political prisoners.

The “march against hatred” has been held since 2004 - in memory of the human rights activist Nikolai Girenko, killed by neo -Nazis.
