This was announced in one of the television talk show on Sunday by Senior US Presidential Advisor Dan Pfeiffer. When asked whether President Barack Obama is ready, under some conditions, to soften Washington’s position in relation to Snowden, Pfeiffer negatively answered, ITAR-TASS reports.

Earlier, the deputy of the German Bundestag Hans Cristian Strabele, who met with Snowden in Moscow, said that the fugitive ex-employee of the CIA and the NSA would like to speak out before the US Congress, which have been sprinkled with US intelligence services in recent months.

He is charged with two provisions of the Act of Spying of 1917 - an unauthorized disclosure of secret information affecting national defense, and the deliberate transfer of data from American intelligence to persons who do not have the right to receive such information. In addition, Snowden is charged with theft of the US government.

For each of these points, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

In this regard, the United States insists on the issuance of Snowden, who previously received a temporary asylum in Russia for up to a year, so that he appears to the trial of charges. At the same time, Washington assures that Snowden will be provided with all the rights that be relied on him.
