Putin will find a job to Iksanov

President Vladimir Putin said that the former General Director of the Bolshoi Theater Anatoly Iksanov will be provided with a new place of work.

At a meeting with the current general director of the Bolshoi Theater, Vladimir Urin, Putin praised Ixanov, whose merits “give us the opportunity to offer him work on the international site, which will be done in the near future,” ITAR-TASS reports.

Urin noted that Ixanov handed him the theater in good condition. “Everything related to organizational issues, Anatoly Gennadievich [Ixanov] left a good household - both in personnel, and on the financial system, and according to state subsidies and commercial activities,” he said. Urin admitted that the news about the upcoming appointment of Ixanov, whom he called his comrade.

What kind of work will be proposed to Iksanov is not specified.

Anatoly Iksanov , who headed the Bolshoi Theater since 2000, was fired from the post of general director because of the “difficult situation” in the theater. According to the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, "Ixanov gave 13 years of life and health to the Bolshoi Theater, but even the highest professionals are not unlimited by human forces."
