According to Kudrin, the national question is quite acute in Russia. "One of the fundamental issues in Russia is the national one. The Soviet Union scattered as a result of this issue, which is a fundamental shift in the history of the state and peoples. Russia is actually a small USSR, and we have the same risks," he said.

Kudrin noted that the national issues of the country are building up completely differently. According to him, unfortunately, the risks of separatism in the country are now quite real.
