In the case of sexual exploitation of children and the distribution of children's pornography, almost 350 people have already been arrested

Canada police managed to liquidate the international criminal network that had sexual exploitation of children and the spread of children's pornography in cooperation with law enforcement agencies and other countries. In total, almost 350 suspects were arrested in this case: more than a hundred in Canada, more than seventy in the United States and more than one hundred and sixty in other countries. As a result of the operation to eliminate the criminal network, according to officials, 386 children were saved.

In the center of this case was the Toront Azov Films company, advertising itself as a manufacturer of video materials about nudists and adherents of naturism. In fact, according to the Canadian police, this company was doing nothing more than children's pornography.

According to the police investigator Toronto Joanna Bevans-Dezhaardan , the suspicion of this company fell back in 2011. During the search for the company’s office, she said at a press conference, a huge number of pornographic materials were found:

Brian Way was arrested, and now he is in custody. He has been charged with numerous accusations of the manufacture and distribution of children's pornography and in participation in a criminal organization.

The investigation of the Azov Films case brought the Canadian police to a whole network of creators, distributors and users of children's pornography in Canada and in other countries. It turned out, for example, that a significant part of the videos distributed by Brian Way was created in Ukraine and Romania. This is what the police officer Toronto Lisa Belange says:

- The videos discovered by AZOV Films were mostly manufactured in Romania and Ukraine, and they were shot in private apartments, in dirty saunas, in yards surrounded by fences.

According to Canadian police officers, the Eastern European producers of pornographic films used by AZOV Films were arrested and involved in court in their homeland. Investigators in Canada were more interested in those who created, sold and distributed child pornography in their country.

During the investigation, it turned out that the network of criminals also spreads to the United States

In total, 108 people were arrested in Canada in this case, and among them were not only those who simply bought pornographic photos and videos, but also those who themselves actively engaged in the sexual exploitation of children. Fifty arrested lived in Ontario, the rest in other areas of Canada. During the investigation, it turned out that the network of criminals also spreads to the United States. American law enforcement agencies joined the investigation, and the US Department of Postal Service Inspectorate was headed by the American part of the investigation. These faces, according to O'Ferrel, were clients of AZOV Films, bought children's pornography from her. But there were among them those who were directly involved in the sexual exploitation of children:

- A lawyer and a sports coach in Washington, who admitted that he produced more than 500 videos with children's pornography. A school employee in Georgia, who admitted that he not only distributed child pornography, but also that he installed video cameras in children's toilet rooms at his school. A primary school teacher, who admitted that, being in Japan, he shot pornographic videos with children, some of whom were only five years old.

In total, 76 attackers were arrested in the United States. But the criminal network was not limited to the United States and Canada. 164 suspects were arrested in other countries. According to representatives of the Canadian police, law enforcement agencies of Australia, Spain, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Hong Kong, Norway, Ireland, Greece and Gibraltar took part in the liquidation of the criminal network.

The Canadian authorities also claim that the investigation of this case continues and that new arrests should be expected.
