The Yekaterinburg "Kolyada Theatra" is threatened with a trial for "mockery" over bread. This was reported in his blog by the Hudor theater, playwright and director Nikolai Kolyada. According to the playwright, the threat comes from a certain viewer who watched the play "Bouquet" on November 16. The next day, calling the theater box office, he said that "he thought for a long time, all night" and now he would sue the theater. “On the stage, the actors are mocking bread. They throw them, stomp it,” the meaning of the claims of the viewer reports Kolyada. “And bread is the head.”

If you follow the logic of the indignant viewer, the playwright noted, then in the play “Dead Souls” you can’t eat dumplings, as this demonstrates a mockery of the feelings of vegetarians or over animals, and in the production of the “Genitary Group”, portraits of Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev cannot be used.

“I want to have a trial,” Kolyada concluded. “In court I will say how I love bread. And I will bring my bread machine to the judge.”

Kolyada Theater has been working since 2001. His productions were repeatedly forwarded to the Golden Mask Award, sometimes in several nominations. The theater is actively touring in Moscow and abroad.
