Russians can resume trips to the Egyptian resorts of the Red Sea, announced the Russian Foreign Ministry , a couple of months ago, very persistently recommended compatriots not to go to this politically unstable country, which at that time covered with unrest. Now the situation in Egypt is stabilized, counted in the Foreign Ministry.

"The emergency and commandant hour were canceled. In the resort zones on the Red Sea coast, the Egyptian authorities provide the necessary level of security and law and order," the statement on the website of the department said.

At the same time, it is recommended to avoid traveling outside the resort areas on Smolenskaya Square, including other large cities and areas, where a terrorist threat remains, protest shares continue and clashes with security forces occur.

This news incredibly delighted tour operators. “Today, the Russian Foreign Ministry has opened the resorts of Egypt, and, of course, we are predicting the instant reaction of tourists,” the Executive Director of the Association of Tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze told reporters. According to ATOR, until the end of November, the demand for the rest of Russians in this country will grow by 20-25%.

“There are no alternatives to this direction yet, Russians love this country, and, of course, many will go there for the New Year,” Lomidze is sure. At the same time, ATOR predicts a double increase in prices for Egyptian tours for the period of New Year's holidays. For example, a weekly tour of Hurghada for the New Year will cost about $ 1,000 per person, a representative of the association said.
