In Detroit, Eminem’s youth was demolished, captured on the covers of his albums

The US authorities on Wednesday demolished the house damaged by the fire in Detroit, in which the famous American rap performer Eminem grew up, AP reports.

The image of a small house, from 1989 to 2003, who belonged to the mother of Eminem Deborah Maters, was preserved on the cover of the recently released The Marshall Mathers LP 2 album. The house is also shown on the cover of The Marshall Mathers LP 2000.

Last September, it was reported that Eminem’s childhood House was put up for sale through the auction, but the results of trading were not mentioned. It is known that the last owner of the construction put the house for auction at the EBAY online asociation for 500 thousand dollars, but the lot did not attract a single rate. According to the Detroit city real estate portal, in 2007 the house was bought for 24.6 thousand dollars.

According to RIA Novosti , a fire occurred a few weeks ago on the top floor of the house, causing a serious damage to the structure. Michigan authorities recognized the building emergency and decided to demolish it.
