
The famous lawyer, Honored Lawyer of the RSFSR Semyon Aria died in Moscow at the 91st year of life, RAPSI said on Monday the first vice-president of the lawyer chamber of the Moscow Region (APMO) Yuri Borovkov.
"Semyon Lvovich was sick, but despite this continued to work. A few days ago his condition worsened, he was placed in the hospital, in intensive care. He was gone yesterday," Borovkov said.
In different years, Semyon was a lawyer Andrei Sakharov, Boris Berezovsky, Rolan Bykov, Alexander Minkin. In the 1960-1970s, he acted as a defender of dissidents.
The Auri Semen medal was established by the Assy Medal of the Moscow Region, it is awarded once every three years for an outstanding contribution to increasing the prestige of the advocacy and serving for the benefit of Russia.
Aria was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, awarded medals "For Courage", "For the Victory over Germany."
