How Serdyukov landscaped the territory

A criminal case was opened against the former Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov under the article “Negality”, the representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Vladimir Markin said on November 28

The case against Serdyukov was opened under part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“negligence”), which provides for a penalty or correctional labor for up to one year, or arrest for up to three months.
According to the investigation, Serdyukov, performing the duties of the Minister of Defense, orally instructed his subordinates to build a road to the recreation center “Zhitniy” for budget money. Serdyukov explained such an assignment plans to create a recreation center for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. In addition, the former Minister of Defense instructed the landscaping work for fighters -carriers of the aviation unit, and the construction of the road to the battalion of railway troops.

SK assessed the damage to the state as a result of Serdyukov’s actions of more than 56 million rubles.
