"Prof Media" will be included in Gazprom-Media

Gazprom-Media buys 100% of the Prof Media holding from Interros by Vladimir Potanin. The completion of the transaction is scheduled for the beginning of 2014, financial conditions were not disclosed.

Information about the transaction was confirmed by Vedomosti CEO of Gazprom-Media Mikhail Lesin and President of Prof Media Olga Paskin.

The largest Russian media holding Gazprom-Media manages, in particular, NTV, TNT channels, several radio stations, the NTV Plus satellite company, seven days, Internet companies in Now.ru and Rutube .

The only owner of Gazprom-Media is Gazprombank, whose shareholders are Gazprom controlled by the state, the State Vnesheconombank and Gazfond.

Prof Media is one of the leading private holdings of Russia. Until now, he completely belonged to Interros Vladimir Potanin. Most of the income, the holding receives television channels ( MTV , TV3 and 2 × 2) and radio stations (Autoradio, Energy , Humor FM and Romantika). Also, the "Prof Media" includes the film company Central Partnership (CPSH).
