Kurentzis records the operas of Mozart

The Musicaeterna orchestra and Choir, under the control of the conductor Theodore Curentzis, is recorded at the studio in Perm three operas of Mozart, which will be released on the plates of Sony Classical.

One of them, the “Figaro Wedding”, was recorded in just 11 days. According to Gramophone magazine, the musicians worked in the studio at 14 hours.

“There are a lot of records that convey the general spirit of Mozart's music. - says Krentzis. - The only reason to do one thing is to give listeners the opportunity to feel all the magic that is contained in the score. I wanted to demonstrate this entry what can be achieved if you abandon the in -line production methods adopted in the classical mainstream. ”

In addition to the already recorded “Figaro’s weddings” and “everything is done”, the plans of Kurentzis and its orchestra record “Don Juan”, appointed for September 2014.
