Wayne McGregor will put a ballet in Mariinka

The English choreographer Wayne McGregor, who refused to put the sacred spring in the Bolshoi Theater in connection with the scandal around the attempt on choreographer Sergei Filin, is preparing the production of his infra ballet in the Mariinsky Theater.

According to the Mariinki press service, the theater is already a casting of artists. Attending the lessons and rehearsals of the troupe, the choreographer will choose artists to participate in a one -act ballet, created in 2008 for the troupe of the London Royal Ballet. The St. Petersburg premiere is appointed on February 24.
