The administration of the President of Russia will appear a new, twentieth in a row, a department that will deal with corruption, Izvestia reports with reference to their own sources.
The order on the emergence of a new department will be signed on December 1, and his assistant to the president Yevgeny School will be headed.
According to the source of the publication, the emergence of a new management is associated with the need to combine the functions of combating corruption in one place, since several departments were previously engaged in this.
The publication also recalls that in April, schools were endowed with the functions of a special authorized person to verify the declarations of civil servants, and in June - the Commissioner for anti -corruption checks.
On the eve of the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika said that in nine months of this year, almost 60 thousand officials were brought to disciplinary and administrative responsibility, of which 3,600 people were convicted. The amount of compensated damage on completed criminal cases of corruption this year amounted to only 10 percent: out of 21 billion rubles, only 2 billion rubles were reimbursed.
The First Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Buksman noted that the amount of damage caused compared to last year grew more than seven times. According to him, this year the courts appointed fines for corruption for a total of 400 million rubles, but in 25 regions the prosecutors practically did not deal with this problem.
