In Irkutsk, a rally was held in defense of employees' labor rights
According to Radio Liberty correspondent, Ekaterina Vertinskaya, the rally was organized by members of the independent trade union of the defense aviation plant. They planned to draw the public attention to the problems of violation of labor rights. They talked about discrimination on the basis of membership in the trade union, low wages, about the employer's non -compliance with the working conditions of labor, as well as the low activity of employees in the struggle for their labor rights.
The slogans of the protest rally: “Stop feeding the yellow trade union !!!”, “Salary, not a bowl of soup”, “We are aircraft builders, not slaves”, “We don’t need a corrupt court”, “We will force officials for workers”, “Workers, remember, in the struggle for our rights: the law on your side.”
At the end of the rally, the audience signed an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, a copy of which will be sent to the governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Eroshchenko.
During the action, the members of the Protective Union announced that they were ready to conduct activities not only at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, but also to work with the workers of any organizations located in the city of Irkutsk and the Irkutsk region.
