
On December 4, the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Valery Gergiev goes on a tour along the route of Samara-Kemerovo-Tomsk-Khanty-Mansiysk-Moscow.
In Samara on December 4 and 5, three performances will take place at the VI Musical Festival "Mstislav Rostropovich".
In the poster of the first day of the festival of the Opera "Iolanta" Tchaikovsky ( December 4 at 20:30). The main parties will perform the soloists of the Mariinsky Theater: Ekaterina Goncharova (Soprano), Kira Loginova (Soprano), Elena Vitman (Mezzo-Soprano), Anna Kiknadze (Mezzo-Soprano), Dmitry Voropaev (tenor), Andrei Zorin (tenor), Roman Burdenko (Bariton), Aleksey Markov (Bariton), Oleg Sychevev (BAS), Vladimir Felauer (BAS). On December 5, the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, led by Valery Gergiev, will give two concerts (at 13:00 and at 18:30), one of which (daytime) will be charity. The concerts will be attended by violinist Alena Baeva and pianist Alexander Toradze (USA). All performances will be held at the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
On December 6 at 19:00, the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater will perform at the Kemerovo State Regional Philharmonic named after B.T. Shtokolova. In the program, music for the ballet “Game of Cards” and Capricio for piano with the Stravinsky Orchestra, as well as the fourth symphony of Tchaikovsky. Pianist Alexander Toradze (USA) will take part in the concert.
The singer in the history of the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater will be a performance in Tomsk on December 9 at 19.00 in the Great Concert Hall of the Tomsk Regional State Philharmonic.
On December 10, two programs will be presented in Khanty-Mansiysk. In the first performance (at 15:00), a symphonic fairy tale for children “Petya and the Wolf” and the classic symphony of Prokofiev, as well as the suite from the music “Firebird” Stravinsky, will be performed. In the evening concert, Beethoven's ninth symphony will sound.
The soloists are Victoria Yastrebova (Soprano), Zlata Bulycheva (Mezzo-Soprano), Sergey Semishkur (tenor), Mikhail Petrenko (BAS). In the performance of the ninth symphony of Beethoven, the consolidated choir of Ugra will also take part. The performances will be held at the Ugra-Classic Concert and Theater Center.
The December tour of the Russian cities will end with a New Year concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Valery Gergiev on December 25 at 20:00 in the concert hall named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow.
