© "Russia 24"On Thursday, November 28, on the air of the Echo of Moscow radio station, the head of the Moscow Culture Department Sergei Kapkov said that, in his opinion, the USSR Museum should be created in the city.
In the program “Looking for an exit” to the question of the radio listener about the need for such a Museum, Kapkov replied that the idea of its creation “has long been discussed”, the options for its placement were considered - in particular, in the Moscow Museum.
“Perhaps we can find somewhere such a place at VDNH. - said Kapkov. - Given the fact that now the APC is completely in Moscow jurisdiction, I think that would be interesting. Because of course it was a whole era for the country. ”
According to Kapkov, the exposition of the USSR Museum will cover a variety of aspects of the USSR life "from design from design."
There is already a “Museum of the History of the USSR” at the VVC, it opened in Pavilion No. 2 in December 2012. It exhibits household items of the Soviet period, recreated the atmosphere of a communal apartment, a store works at the museum, where books and a variety of attributes of the times of the USSR are sold.
A much more serious project is planned to be implemented by 2022 in Ulyanovsk. There will be created a tourist cluster “Museum of the USSR” with an area of 120 hectares, which will include museums of political and economic history of the USSR, Soviet Army, Soviet fashion and design, etc. The construction of the complex will cost the federal budget of 33 billion rubles.
