
The prosecutor's office of the capital approved and sent to the Moscow City Court an indictment in the case of the State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Communist Party Konstantin Shirshov. This was reported on the website of the department. Shirshov is charged with part 3 of article 30, part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (attempted fraud on an especially large scale).
According to investigators, Shirshov tried to sell a deputy mandate for 7.5 million euros for 7.5 million euros. It is alleged that in July 2011 the communist met at the National Hotel with a businessman and received 66 million rubles of an advance payment from him.
In the case, businessman Vadim Gurzhia, a former assistant to the State Duma deputy of the previous convocation from Fair Russia Vladimir Myasin and the former head of the protocol department of the same party Leonid Karagoda, also took place in the case. All of them received real terms from 2.5 to 3 years. Shirshov, who is under the subscription of the wizard, denies his guilt.
Since Shirshov has deputy immunity, the trial of it is possible only with the sanction of the State Duma. The Prosecutor General’s Office sent the appropriate performance to the Lower Chamber. Last Friday it was satisfied : 294 deputies voted for the trial of Shirshov.
