1993. Acceptance of the Russian coat of arms

20 years ago, on November 30, 1993, President Boris Yeltsin signed a decree "On the State Emblem of the Russian Federation". It said: "The state coat of arms of the Russian Federation is an image of a golden two -headed eagle placed on a red heraldic shield; above the eagle - three historical crows of Peter the Great (above their heads - two small and above them - one larger); in the paws of the eagle - a scepter and power; on the chest of the eagle on the red shield - a horseman striking with a drama with a spear."
