The ministers want to provide an additional tax on cars that go on the prohibited fuel "Euro 1 and 2"

The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Industry and Trade prepare a proposal to introduce additional fees from cars technically focused on the use of class 1 and 2 fuel (Euro 1, 2), Interfax reports with reference to the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Sergey Donskoy.

“Together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, we are preparing a package of proposals for the introduction of environmental collection for cars operating on the Euro 1 and 2 standards,” he said.

The Minister recalled that the departments have already managed to adopt a comprehensive plan for the development of the gas -engine fuel market and introduce a recycling fee for vehicles.

According to the technical regulations for fuel, in Russia, class 1 and 2 fuel circulation is already prohibited.
