Turner's prize was received by ENT PRUVOST

The laureate of the Turner Award, awarded for the best exhibition of the year to British artists under the age of 50, was ENT Provostom.

Her name was announced on Monday, December 2, at a ceremony, which for the first time in the history of the award took place outside England - in the North Ireland city of Londonderry, the Turner Twitter reported.

ENT PRUVOST (b. 1978), a participant in the Moscow International Biennale of Young Art, was awarded for the installation of Farfromwords and the performance “Wantee” dedicated to the German artist Kurt Shviters. She will receive a cash prize of 25 thousand pounds, the rest of the finalists - 5 thousand pounds each.

Turner’s short list also included Tino Segal (b. 1976) nominated for the project “This Varision” at the Documenta XIII exhibition and for the exhibition “These Associations” in the Tait Modern turbine hall, David Srigly (b. 1968), nominated for the personal exhibition “David Shrigley: Brain Activity ” in the Hayurd (London) gallery, and Linett Jiad-Boaca (b. 1977), nominated for the exhibition “ Extraacts and Verses ” in the chisenheil gallery (London).

Jury members, chaired by the director of the Tate British Museum of Penelop Kertis this year, were the head of the museum of Van Abbe (Eindhoven) Annie Fletcher, Director of the Modern Art Museum (Frankfurt) Suzanne Genshaimer, the LEAD LEGITOR LONG and Director Long and Gallery Director Heyuord (London) Ralph Rugoff.
