Today at 19:30 in the Artdokfest contest (repeated shows will be held on December 4 and 8) show the film Alena Polonina Nepal Forev, in which the leaders of the Communists of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (part of the Russian Communists) Sergey Malinkovich and Viktor Perov go to Nepal to reconcile the scholars of comrades in ideology. The genre of the film working on the verge between the documentary and the mockmentaries will be most correctly defined as postdock . About the reaction to the film

Sergey Malinkovich: Firstly, I immediately want to distance myself from the term "film". Polunina uses video material and audio recording, which has no rights to play. We did not give her written consent to the use of our video images and audio recordings - neither I nor a deputy of Perov.

Victor Perov: I confirm this fact.

Malinkovich: Polunina was recommended to us by one common acquaintance as a film director, interested in the history of our party, my novel about the international compression, etc. She said that she wanted to make a serious picture about the new generation of Russian communists. We immediately warned her that we would give official consent to the use of the material only after she showed us a ready -made film. However, in the process of filming, we stopped contact with her due to its provocative behavior, and thus, it violates the law on personal data. We did not sign a contract with her and have already sent a claim to the Directorate of the Artdokfest festival and the Ministry of Culture.

Perov: We are shocked by how everything is mounted. NTV with his films about the opposition is simply resting. But the principle is one - orders are ordered to discredit the opposition.

About claims to the film

MALINKICH: Our organization has existed for 13 years, today it is an integral part of one of the largest political parties, the “Communists of Russia”. The organization and the party has its own problems, their successes, there are disputes on serious issues. Cluses with the admin resource are constantly taking place, constantly - meetings with voters, people of different ages work. We introduced the midday to the midst of the party, she was at the party of the party in Moscow, and was at meetings. But she did not need this, in the picture there is no conversation on the merits of what the modern comed in Russia is the left of the Communist Party, what it lives, what people lead them for. She is trying to present the case like this: people have fun, look at everything with humor, reflect on the fact that once, many years ago, they worked in the old Communist Party. Polunina saw mass protests in which we participated, discussions of serious problems, was at countless deputy receptions, because both I and Victor - deputies for more than 13 years. My comrades appear in the frame-ex-governor of Kamchatka Mashkovtsev, a party veteran, a lieutenant colonel-throat Ovanisyan, a member of the construction of BAM A.V. Sakharov and other people very respected in the parties, but she did not want to speak with any of them. By the installation and imposition of sound recorded in some circumstances, in the video of a completely different period, the author of Nepal Forev is trying to create an impression of the scandalous, conflict of our activity with the viewer. What do you think that if we had not worked by solving the socio-economic problems of citizens, why the hell people to elect us deputies for 13 years in a row? After all, this is not an impersonal party list, but the district. Today, our party has 65 regional branches, 50 thousand members, factions in the regions, in the city collections. Half -squirrels need to be ridiculed, marginalize the left movement. This is the super -task of the film, in this, it seems to me, the reason for his support from the Ministry of Culture, the notorious Medinsky.

Perov: It would be clear if such an impression was made from the film. But we are not the characters of the comedy, despite the deputy status, I was repeatedly detained for organizing protests, like Sergey. There were bells with threats, and a very difficult material situation due to political choice, and all this is Polunina. But she gives the comments offending us, as if orienting the viewer - nothing sense in inter -party relationships, international relations, she gives out the inevitable attributes of such contacts for something sprinkled, fake. For example, party uniform. It is unusual to go to the half -ninneine, and we are joyful, we are proud of it. You don’t understand - ask. This is just incompetence on her part. I believe that I let her into my house, and she abused my ideals. Polunin is deeply dishonest, in my opinion, a person. In an interview with Radio Liberty, she calls me uneducated. It's a shame, because I am an economist by education, I have been working all my life - first at the mine, then, in addition to deputy work, in a social institution.

Malinkovich: The director persistently tries to backtracks our relationship with Victor. Victor is my deputy and friend, sometimes we argue, we will bother each other, we can joke on the verge of a foul, but this does not apply to the essence of our business and friendly relations. Polunina, on the other hand, cut the material in such a way that Viktor Nikolaevich fulfills all my “instructions” without her own opinion.

Perov: Although on many issues, my opinion in party organizations is decisive.

MALINKICH: Yes, of course, according to the Organ, in the organization of work with voters, we all listen to Victor. The organization is not small, 500 people only in St. Petersburg and the region.

Perov: She hid it from the viewer, although she knew perfectly well: Sergey and I were both of the workers, Sergey went to the head of the workshop from the locksmith, and this is a class consciousness - we are united. I was on dozens of shares and did not figure out anything. Or did not want to? It is no accident, I think, she does not say a word in the film about the book of Sergei, which is a very serious and popular study of the history of the international communist movement. She was very well met by criticism, she was grabbed in St. Petersburg bookstores. It was necessary to introduce us to limited people.

About the methods of the director

Malinkovich: Apparently, there was a social order: to remove the film so that the society perceives the new generation of communists as people engaged in some incomprehensible affairs, dreaming of a world revolution, spending free time with girls from a dating site or hunting. And most importantly - possessing a scandalous reputation and offended by Zyuganov for personal reasons. But I simply told her about my personal acquaintance with Gennady Andreevich for two minutes, and then explained for two hours what our political disagreements were. It remains only about the glass. This is a pure water manipulation!

And she still owed us money.

Only now we learned that in 2008, Polunina shot a movie similar in style and provocativeness about the National Bolsheviks; The recipe is the same. I came to do a serious film about the opposition, but in fact I abused the suffering of civil activists. You see, today the film director, having a good technique, gluing replicas, imposing the sound on a video shot in a completely different place, can achieve any psychological or visual effect ... Perov: If the author sets such a task. Or they set such a task. Probably, her next tape will be about ecologists, with the aim of discrediting them.

MALINKICH: The fact that the shoulder straps shine through the half -worship, I have no doubt now. Or she was caught on something and forced to shoot like that. The artist is capable of, the frames are finished, beautiful, but responsibility and decency-zero.

About a trip to Nepal

Malinkovich: Of course, the situation was completely different than in the film. Our party maintains relations with 50 foreign authorities. I am the secretary of the Central Committee, in charge of this area. We had to have a planned visit to Nepal, of course, without any half -nin. She asked her to give her the opportunity to accompany us on this trip. We did not mind, hoping that the film will include the real problems of the Nepali Communists. The sensitiveness of the situation is that there are two Communist Parties, both strong, and, of course, we do not want to spoil the relationship with any. This is our policy. We can only listen to their opinions, without interfering in anything. Elementary diplomacy - polite attention to the arguments of the interlocutors - Polunin gives out a desire to appeal to both sides of the Nepal conflict. Manipulation again. So there, in Nepal, Polunin paid only those moments that were connected with some trips, necessary only for her filming. Our business trip went on as usual. Meetings with party leaders, ministers, deputies. For me, as a secretary of the Central Committee, this is ordinary familiar work. Dozens of countries ...

Perov: And I was sent to Nepal by decision of the party to exchange experience with the deputy work with the Communist Party, namely as a deputy from the hinterland, since Nepal is an agrarian country.

Malinkovich: During the filming in Nepal, Polunin tried to simulate situations in which we should have entered the conflict with one of the Communist Parties, taking the side of the second. We fundamentally did not want to do this. Polunina began to insist, and we, right in Nepal, interrupted all contacts with her, emphasizing that we did not give permission to use our video and audio recordings, because it became clear: the director had different, purely political goals. Here, in fact, is the whole story.

Perov: And she still owed us money.

Malinkovich: This is a particular. In general, I would like to note that we absolutely do not cause irritation if our words or actions give birth to a good smile, irony, and positive emotions. I already said somehow that the Communist Party in the XXI century should be able to smile. But when the director simply begins to lie, manipulate, and just violate the law on personal data, I do not think that this is a good movie - and, in any case, not documentary. The order will always remain an ordering, behind which the interest of the authorities is visible.
