Putin signed the law on the cancellation of the indexation of salaries by civil servants and military

President Vladimir Putin signed the law on the suspension from January 1, 2014 for the year of indexation of salaries of civil servants, assistants of parliamentarians, and salaries of the military. It is reported by RIA "Novosti".

"In 2014, it was decided to abandon the indexation of salaries of the monetary maintenance of federal state civil servants, monetary allowance of military personnel and law enforcement officers (ATS, UIS, GPS, FSKN, customs). We are also talking about the general month of remuneration of assistants to the Council of the Federation and State Duma deputy," the document said in a certificate.

Such a step will help to save 3.6 billion rubles in salaries of civil servants, 10.4 billion rubles in the income of military personnel of the Armed Forces and a little more than 20 billion rubles - at the income of military personnel of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers and other law enforcement agencies.

On October 1, the presidential decree was published, which raised salaries to almost all senior officials since September 2013. The salaries of most ministers, with the exception of representatives of the power unit, are installed in 51.8 thousand rubles per month. A number of higher officials have established a higher reward. In addition, officials receive cash incentives and bonuses that can significantly exceed the salary. A year later, salaries will grow again.

Putin also signed a decree on an increase in the monthly cash incentive to ministers of the power block from 3.9 to 5.6 of their monthly remuneration, which is 65 thousand rubles.

Accordingly , the remuneration of members of the Council and deputies of the State Duma should increase. According to the law on the status of a senator and a deputy, their salaries should be equal to the earnings of the federal minister. On September 1, in accordance with the presidential decree on the increase in the monetary remuneration of high -ranking officials, a monthly money from 32.9 to 51.8 thousand rubles. In addition, deputies receive monetary incentives every month. It is increased from 128.4 to 202 thousand rubles.

On September 17, Deputy Minister of Finance Tatyana Nesterenko said that the government decided not to index in 2014 to civil servants , military personnel, judges and prosecutors, the payments of which are established by the government and decrees of the president.

According to her, the main economic task of the authorities is "braking of costs." To perform this task, tariffs of natural monopolies will also be frozen and a number of budget expenditures are redistributed.

As Nesterenko noted, next year, conditionally approved budget expenditures will be reduced by 355 billion rubles, and in 2015 - by 400 billion rubles. In addition, in the next three years, the Ministry of Finance proposes to redistribute the current budget expenditure of the budget in favor of other priority expenses for a total of 624 billion rubles.
