Rod Stuart promises to revive the Faces

The English musician Rod Stuart announced that The Faces, in which he sang in the early 1970s, plans the first joint performances in more than 20 years.

According to The Guardian , concerts are scheduled for 2015.

Having told WZLX Radio on the air of the Boston radio station about the abolition of a joint album with guitarist Jeff Back, Rod Stuart said that " The Faces will gather again." He added that there is already an agreement with another former member of the group, Ron Wood.

Recently, The Faces have been touring with the Simply Red vocalist Miknell’s vocalist invited to the place of the Simply Red, but the group has not performed in the original composition since 1993.

If it were not for the sudden flu Stuart, Reunion would take place back in 2012, when he was going to sing along with Kenny Jones, Ron Wood and Ian McGlagan at the The Faces Hall of Rock and Roll. As a result, they had to perform Heknoll.

The Faces were formed in 1969 and released four studio records and a concert album. The bass player of the first composition of the Ronnie Lane group died in 1997.
