Saakashvili supported the desire of Ukrainians for European integration. “Nothing can withstand our desire for freedom,” he said during his speech in front of 15 thousand people, who was at that moment on the Maidan of Nezalevniy.

“Today you defend not only your future, but the future of all of us,” the ex -president of Georgia added. The protesters supported his performance by the slogans “Europe”, “Miho”, and also held the state flags of Georgia.

In addition, Saakashvili said that he always had a good relationship with Yanukovych, and therefore he can act as an intermediary in the negotiations of the authorities and the opposition.

After his performance, Saakashvili walked along the Maidan among the protesters. Having made a short walk, the ex-president answered several questions from journalists, then got into the car and left. In conversations with reporters, he emphasized that he came to Ukraine as a private person in order to support Ukrainians during a political crisis. Meanwhile, in Kyiv for several days there has been a group of representatives of the Saakashvili party "The Unified National Movement".
