In the near future, Russia can, without any adjustment, ratify Article 20 (illegal enrichment) of the UN Convention against Corruption, according to which officials can be found by a priori guilty of corruption, the press service of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation can be found guilty of corruption.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, at present, the State Duma of the Russian Federation is under consideration by the draft Federal Law "On Amending the Federal Law" On the Ratification of the United Nations Against Corruption ". The bill proposes to expand the list of articles binding on the Russian Federation, including Article 20 in it.
