A fund has been created for financial assistance to detainees on shares, unfairly sentenced to fines under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The instructions on the Foundation 31 website say that from a person who wants to receive money from the fund for paying a fine (but not the whole amount: the fund is ready to send a maximum “5 thousand rubles in one hand by one sentence, but not more than 50% of the fine”), it is required to be stated in the blog, as the detention took place, with the transfer of violations committed by the police, and send the court a decree of the court. The penalty is collected under article 20.2.

The programmer Alexei Sokirko told the OVD-Info: “The person’s message is most interested in what was actually, there should be an information part. The person should tell: “I just stood, did not shout any slogans” or “I shouted“ shame! ”And they detained me.“ It is important for us to know that the detention was illegal because, for example, it was a single picket, or the police did not present the certificates or wrote the same protocols. ”It was instructed by the surnames of police officers who detained the protocol participants or constituting the protocols. They are fundamentally limited by article 20.2. However, under article 19.3, detainees are often sentenced not for a fine, but for administrative arrest.

Earlier, Elena Vasilieva made the idea of ​​a similar project, however, when she turned to support comrades to the movement, no one actually supported her. She failed to raise a lot of money, and she, according to Sokirko, began to simply send money to some detainees and convicted on mobile phones.

Sokirko admitted that he faced a problem: people often do not want to tell any details about the detentions. When he made the Rospore website, he was looking for people who were detained on promotions, walking on the lists published by the OVD-Info, and invited them to describe in his LiveJournal, as everything was. According to him, basically, people refuse. “Everything rests simply on their unwillingness: they report about the fact of the detention at the OVD-Info, but the details do not want to tell, they do not consider it necessary. They do not consider it necessary to inform the names of the police who detained them, rude and so on, ”says Sokirko.
