
In the Primorsky Territory, the fighter of the Ministry of Defense of MiG-31 crashed, reports Prima Media. Both fighter pilots managed to catapult, they are alive, but there is no information about their condition.
The incident occurred on December 14 in the area of the village of Olenevod at about 13:00 local time (about 6:00 in Moscow). A brigade of the Ministry of Emergencies left for the crash site.
According to RIA Novosti, the MiG-31 flew out of the Knevichi airfield and crashed 26 kilometers from the central corner air base near Vladivostok. A source of the agency notes that rescuers were able to find pilots, they are being taken to the airfield. As a result of the fall of the aircraft, there are no victims and destruction.
According to the representative of the Nadezhdinsky district of the Territory, in the territory of which the MiG-31 crashed, the pilots managed to take the plane from the nearest village, and he fell in the taiga. They themselves landed after the catapultation on the outskirts of the village of Olenevod.
According to unofficial information, the cause of the MiG-31 crash was a technical malfunction. On the fact of the incident, the prosecutor's office of the Pacific Fleet began a check.
